Rickey Childers, Board of Directors - Cedar Valley Church of Christ
Retired after 35 years in local government service in 2012. Mr. Childers served as the City Manager of Lancaster for 4 years and Longview for 7 years. Mr. Childers is an active member in both the International City/County Management Association and Texas City Management Association. Mr. Childers currently serves on the International City/County Management Retirement Corporation (ICMARC) Vantage Trust Board of Directors, a position he has held since 2004.

Paul Ward, Executive Committee, Board of Directors - Schneider Electric
Paul Ward has been an energy consultant for over sixteen years. He currently serves as Director and General Manager for Schneider Electric. Prior to his time in the energy industry, Paul served as associate pastor at Grace Covenant Church and has been in that church for just over 30 years. Paul has been married to Susan for 30 years and is the proud father of a son (Micah, 12 years old) and daughter (Eliana, 7 years old).

Asia Murray is a Volunteer with Taylor Cares, a non-profit organization, based in the Lancaster area. Asia is a methodical strong leader, who focuses on continuous improvement and has a track record of achievements in turning around organizations that do not meet set strategic goals and objectives. She possesses a unique blend of project and business management acumen experience. Asia is originally from Compton, California and recently moved back to the DFW area.

Cheryl Adams is the Vice President of Commercial Services for Pattillo Insurance Agency. She is a seasoned insurance professional. She is also a graduate of Leadership Southwest. She is serving her second 3-year term on the Chamber Board, a member of the Executive Committee, and Chair - Elect for 2019.

The Lancaster Chamber of Commerce is forging ahead in community and business support. Our membership luncheons are held each month with informative and educational programs. We host NCA5 evening events giving local businesses networking opportunities. We have quarterly meetings of the Manufacturers and Logistics Roundtable, and monthly meetings of the Small Business Council, called Better Business Breakfasts.
Each year, the Chamber hosts the annual State of the City address by our mayor. We also host a candidates forum for the community and businesses where candidates have an opportunity to meet constituents. Lancaster is a very unique city in southern Dallas County.
We are proud to enjoy amenities such as the Lancaster Regional Airport, Scenic Country View Golf Course, and a 155-year-old historic Town Square. We have the Lancaster Community Park with recreation center along with an excellent public library.
The school system is growing and striving to improve the opportunities available to students. Lancaster also has Cedar Valley College, a community college, as well as UNT-Dallas located in close proximity. These institutions of higher learning have consistently shown a willingness to offer services and support to citizens and businesses in our area.

Mark Rhea, Executive Committee, Board of Directors - KLLM / FFE Transportation
Mark Rhea has 25+ years transportation industry experience. Vice President of FFE Transport Services Safety, Driving Academy and Account Executive for strategic national accounts. He also serves as Chairman of the Driver Committee. A Texas native, he attended Texas A&M University-College Station where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Transportation Planning. He also served in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer in both active and reserve roles. He is an active member of the North Central Texas Council of Governments and the Texas Emissions Reduction Board.
